John Sedgwick

John started coaching for the SCST in September of 2005. As a swimmer, John was a 4 time WIAA State Qualifier, and a 2003 Medal Winner in the 100 Butterfly for Milton High School. John swam for the Milton Marlins as an Age Group swimmer, and the elite Badger Aquatics Club as a Senior swimmer. John finished his final season at UW-Whitewater, where he was a school record-holder and a captain. He has taken the knowledge he has attained during his swim career and successfully applied it to SCST swimmers.

Leah Kluge

Leah started coaching for the SCST in the Summer of 2006. Leah is a Janesville native, having swam 4 years at Janesville Craig, where she was a 4-time letterwinner. Leah has served as both a lifeguard and swim instructor since 2002, is a Certified Stroke/Turn Judge and USA Swim Coach. She is also currently pursuing her American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Certification. Her responsibilities with the SCST currently include coaching the Junior and Senior groups at the Janesville pool, as well as managing the site, its swimmers, and coaches. 

Eric Rhodes

Eric has been member of the SCST Board of directors since 2005 where he started as a volunteer. Eric grew up swimming for the Janesville YMCA and was a school record holder at Janesville Craig. He has been the head boys coach at Janesville Parker since 2000, where he has coached numerous boys to the WIAA State Championships, including SCST Founder, Jeremy Meserole in 2001. Parker swimmers during Eric’s tenure hold numerous school records. His three daughters also swim for SCST.

Erica Bergstrom

Delavan Coach

Erica has been with the team since its start, first as a swimmer and volunteer, then as a coach. She swam for Delavan-Darien High School until 2005 and was a 4-time letter winner and captain. She is an avid long distance and open water swimmer. In 2008 she was the National Champion 18-24 year old females in the U.S.M.S. 1 - 3 Mile Open Water Division and was an All-American. She attended UW-La Crosse to study Health Sciences/Biochemistry and is currently earning her M.P.H. from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Erica serves as the main coach in Delavan, instructing DCST Age Group, Junior, Senior and Masters swimmers.
